We carry out repairs and servicing to all types of cycles, from puncture repairs, correcting gear troubles to complete restorations in our well-equipped workshop.
Looking for that special pair of wheels, come in and choose your rim, hub and spokes type and we will make your dream build come a reality.

When you walk into Madgetts Cycles you'll find new cycles for every rider, road bikes, hybrids, Mountain, Electric and children's bikes regularly in stock, can also supply time-trial bikes, touring bikes, fixed wheels and much more. Our Aladdins Cave is rammed with loads of spares too, from tyres & tubes, transmission parts, bar tape & grips right down to Sturmey-Archer spares.
The fully equipped workshop is ready to tackle any task from general servicing, wheel truing, bearing replacements, brake adjustments as well as hydraulic brake and electronic gear set ups.
Also known over a wide area for our restoration work on classic cycles, our knowledge and expertise outshine anyone else offering a similar service.
Going through the whole bike, front to back, checking all moving and wearing parts, performing all the required adjustments as needed.
When you drop a bike off to us we like to have a quick look over them and advise if any parts are badly worn and need replacing that could bring the servicing price up.
We endeavour to turn around repairs within 48 hours, although this may be longer at peak times.
Our Nationally renowned wheel builds are normally carried out by using DT Swiss stainless steel spokes and brass nipples.
Other options are available (Spoke make, spoke colour and nipple colour) just let us know if you have any preference when discussing the build.
With our range of bikes and parts being so vast we can't list all the prices, but as a rough idea our children's bikes start from £100 and adult bikes from £299.
We try our best to be as competitive as we can with the price of our spares and parts, but obviously being a small independent shop we understand that the online world can be cheeper, but our knowledge is something money can't buy.
